Are Domain Local Groups No Longer Supported in v3.1.0

When we first installed Livelink many years ago we were advised to use a Domain Logal Group for Synchronization. Per the 3.1.0 Release notes:Only Domain Global groups will be supported by Directory Services.Local Domain groups will not be supported.Can someone verify this and confirm this means I need to create a new Domain Global Group and migrate all my users and groups to that? What will happen to the users will tehy be synched in as new users and lose their personal workspace access?
