EWS on W8K 64bit with IIS7

I am having trouble enabling EWS on W8K 64 bit with IIS7.  Has anyone had any luck with this or could point me in the correct location of documentation?  It is a supported platform for Content Server 971 so it must be supported for EWS be default ;-)

Does this FAQ help?

Some keys to remember:

32-bit applications must be enabled.
Visual J# 2.0 Redistributable Second Edition x64 must be installed.
ASP.NET must be enabled.
Handlers must be in place for WCF services (*.svc).
