We currently have some Java applications developped with LAPI to talk to our Livelink 9.2 server. We're thinking about about upgrading our server to 9.7.1 or 10.0.0.
As it is mentioned in the following thread, it would be possible to use LAPI 9.7.1 with the Content Server 2010 (even though it is recommended to use the Content Web Services instead).
For us, it would be easier, as a first migration step, to convert our applications to use LAPI 9.7.1, so they can still be usable against the new server. Afterward, we would be able to upgrade each application to the new Web Services API.
That said, our there any differences between LAPI 9.2 and LAPI 9.7.1?
