I am extremely new to Livelink development, and hope to get some directions.
In our problem, we need to save the office location of the performer of a certain workflow step, so that when we do reporting later on, we can refer to that particular office location. To make it more exciting, our extension application uses custom database tables outside of livelink, so I am curious whether we should save the information to an Attribute or DB Table. I personally like Tables better as it more accessible in reports.
To do this, do I need to learn Oscript? Or does Livelink or Workflow Editor provide a mean to accomplish this? Can you point me in the right direction please?
