The first thing I would check is the username format. Look at the format of the usernames in Livelink, they are probably just set as ‘username’. When enabling authentication, the default username format is ‘domain\username’ so when we run the SQL to find the user, we will be looking for the wrong format, thus the invalid username/password.
Set the username format so that the authentication matches the format that the users already exist as, this will probably resolve the issue.
