Outlook addon to initiate livelink workflows from attachments

Hi,

Is it possible to initiate livelink workflows directly from outlook.

Say, I get an email with certain attachments, I would like to select the attachments and initiate a livelink workflow. This will copy the files into livelink and then initiate a workflow and attach these documents to the workflow.

Can you please reply if this can be achieved.

    It is possible, although you would need to create the Outlook Addin to do the Outlook side of the process, you could use LAPI, or ideally Web Services, to kick off the Livelink workflow, alternatively there are a few remote workflow initiation approaches and you could create some code to start a workflow if there is content in an incoming directrory etc.
