CreteDocument method question

Hi All,

 

I'm inserting some documents using the CreateDocument Web Service.

 

My issue is that when I insert a .msg or .eml document, the system doesn't recognise it as an email and so when I open it I can only see the body of the email, if I want to see the attachments I need to download it.

 

Is there a way to tell the LES that it's an email so that when I open it I can see the body and the attachments exactly like it happens when we insert emails via email archiving?

Hi, Igor.

CreateDocument creates a node with subtype 144 (Document), whereas I believe you want a separate subtype for Email.  CreateNode could be used to create subtypes other than Document, but I don't think Email is supported.

A ServiceNode would have to be implemented for the Email subtype in order for CreateNode to be used.
