Error logging in.

I was setup the "single sign-on function" into content server, but it showed me the logging in error by following:"[Invalid username/password specified.]"I search the reason, and it might because of the username format. By default, username format was only "login name". When the authentication enabled, the username format will become to "domain\username". So might need to change the username format. But how to do it ? Everyone got this problem before ? Pls help
