DownloadContent webservice performance

Hi All,

We are using DownloadContent webservice to download files from opentext. It is working fine,but it is running 6 timws slower than the actual download. I can download the 5MB document directly in 6-8 secs. But when I use the webservice to download the same fiel, it takes about 36-38 secs.

Are there any tweaks which can improve the performance of the webservice based download?

Hi Kapil,

Did you ever get any response for this? I am having a similar issue. I have a 50 meg file that takes ~ 30 seconds when downloading the standard way and it takes 90 seconds using the web service.
