Extend Workflow Web Service - Workflow step instructions

Hi,

I would like to extend the Workflow Web Service. Currently, this Web Service has the method "listWorkItems()" which lists the WorkItems assigned to the current user. The problem is that the WorkItem doesn't contain the Workflow step instructions (WMapTask.MapTask_Instructions).

Which actions should I need to perform to extend the current workflow (or create a duplicate of the current one with this extra functionality)?

I took the webServices Primer class and in a nutshell (there's a helloworld example in the forum)

First you would have to implement the added functionality that you see with Oscript Builder which does the work,like in your eg ListWorkItemsEnhanced.then the service implementation can be tested while you are in builder itself with no client stubs.That will tell you whether your logic is correct.

Then you will have to run a batch file which creates the .NET version and the Tomcat version of the API.I beleive you need Visual studio on the same box  the builder is for ease of operation,This would give you the wsdl that you put in a webserver to call your service.

There are a lot of steps and may not be understood unless you have been doing websvcs all your life.I don't so I was totally stumped on the wsdl creation and stuff even though I could understand the oscript part more easily.

I hate to ask but isn't there a command in the OutOfBox wf web svcs if you have the workhandle you can ask for extra info perhaps like in a loop?
