Problem with JQuery.

I am new to Livelink and have a problem with using JQuery at web pages.

There is information that the bug is fixed in September 2009 monthly patch for Enterprise Server 9.7.1 and in patch 08266

I just installed November 2010 Update 1 Cumulative Patch, which overrides otutilities.js.

New otutilities.js file contains definition for Object.prototype.addProperty, which conflicts with the JQuery function (such as .css() and .remove())

The only way to fix the error again - this is to install the patch 08266 over the November 2010 Update 1 Cumulative Patch. I will be forced to install this patch every time after installing the cumulative patches. I think that this is not correct...

Maybe there's another way ?

If you can't find a particular patch in the cumulative updates, ask for it. Bug fixes are usually added automatically and if they are not there must be a reason for that.

If you "patch" a JS prototype make sure you do it before objects that would use that prototype are created. It has no effect on already created objects.
