Help to create credentials with acitve directory installed and single sign on

we have a active directory installed and single signon.but we would like to have to create credentials via the Admin server it is possible to add usernames with passwords, hence enabling access through the “Admin service” principle, to bypass the automatic logon(SSO) and prompt for username & password for external users.

Assuming your livelink runs on IIS,this is the same principle for other webservers,you can create a new website or virtual directory that will accept "anonymous access".So if your main SSO livelink goes like thishttp:///livelink/llisapi.dllnew website wayhttp:///livelink/llisapi.dllnew VD wayhttp:///livelink2/llisapi.dllcreate mappings just making sure using common sense on the mappings.tbl that the OT installer gave you.The underlying principle is just having DirSvcs will not cut it,you need your webserver to authenticate a user in the AD /LDAP domain(IWA) and pass the token to livelink.If the token is not passed as in "anonymous access" of a webserver livelink will show the login screen.You can always create external users and internal users(anonymous access user+password) in livelink for some years now.I am not sure what you mean by "Admin service".I am guessing you have a FE server and a Admin server and you want the admin server to be used as a non sso instance.it should definitely be possible.

Many thanks Appu for replying when creating a user there is option to create username only.we get this below message for password option:"Directory Services Authentication feature is active and has disabled Password functionality for users".fyi we are having another instance which is having this facility.is there any settings to be change?pls check the attached screen for add new user.
