Is there a way to create a Live Report to show what a specific group has permissions to? I have numerous groups and would like to know what permissions are assigned to a group. Is this possible ? Using oracle database.

Yes, the sql would be placed in the sql box of the LiveReport. It takes user input so you would set up the report accordingly.
Content Server comes with a number of canned reports that you can look at as examples. They can be accessed from the Personal menu -> Reports and then clicking on the LiveReports tab.
You can also use the Add Item button to create a new LiveReport and when the report page opens click on the Help -> For this Page. It will open the help files related to LiveReports that you can then step through.

How would I use this example in a Live Report? I'm not very experienced with SQL. Could I take the above example and plug it in to the SQL portion when edit the auto Live report or what modifications would I need to make.? Or is there documentation on this ?
Topic:
One can only speculate at what is wrong as nothing was included showing the error response.
A common issue with sql in livereports is that users do a copy/paste action to place the sql in the box. When done this way you risk the format being changed. Usually it is spaces between the ‘words’ or operators. I would suggest either typing the statements in manually so you know they are spaced properly or cursor through the lines using the error message as a guide and find where the format is off.

Took the above example ( 1st option) and plugged it into a Auto Live Report with user input , can't make this work. is there some form of syntax I have to follow it gives me an error saying it is looking for a FROM statement
