Edits do not require the Explorer module,however, if you have Explorer, the edit will use that, as it has morefunctionality than the basic office editor. Similarly, if you have WebDAVinstalled, that can also be configured to do your edits.

Does the Directory Services Module require Explorer Pro to be installed when using the Office Editor feature. I am asking because I noticed when we edit a document that it seems to call Explorer Pro.
