Hello,
Install my test environment (platform OpenText) and everything went very well, thank you to you.
I install: 1 BE, 1 FE both with OS windows 2003 watching a copy of the database of productive. I did several times to be consistent and everything ok.
Now the scenery is distinct. I want to do the same thing in servers with SO Windows 2008 32-bit.
I did the same by following these case studies: https://knowledge.opentext.com/knowledge/llisapi.dll?func=ll&objId=15664652&objAction=browse&hierarchy=A<1,?,'FacetDefId'=15665849,'FacetNodeId'=15664652,'_15666514'={},'_15666728'={1},'_15666729'={},'_15666730'={},15666514={},15666728={'Case Study'},15666729={},15666730={}>
I know that the installation of IIS on Windows 2008 is different and I did the same thing does this case study , "Implementing the Content Server in Windows 2008 64 bit and IE 8.pdf "
My question is: Is there anything else that is uq ethene Livelink account to install OS 9.7.1 on a windows 2008 32 bits.
Thank you for your attention;
Regards;
The livelink 9.7.1 is still the same the only changes are if you use IIS7 none of the familiar IIS GUI commands can be found where you expect to be.IIS7 is far less forgiving than IIS6 and down.As a matter of fact if you are used to making your livelink SSO with DirSvcs and IWA in IIS6 to do the same unless you are a proven IIs administrator i had the "enable that feature" in the "role manager" to do it.Othwerise everything should pretty much stay the same.I just followed the document you did and everything worked.

In this new scenario on Windows 2008 32 bit, I get everything right, I can see everything that is part of the Admin interface, BUT, when you click "My workspace"to try to upload files I get this error.
I try to do what it says:
https://knowledge.opentext.com/knowledge/llisapi.dll?func=ll&objId=17581830&objAction=ArticleView
but "<requestFiltering allowDoubleEscaping="true">" can not find it in my file: applicationHost.config
What do you think is happening.
Yours sincerely
Thank you;
Already settled, it was only adding allowDoubleEscaping = "true";
Hello
Some of you have gone a mistake like this:
Thank you,
Already resolved to.
Now my new Front-End are ready to be used in testing environment, Only 2 large details:
1.- When uploading a document from my Front-End will not let me, and I get error
My Storage is in E : \ Livelink_external on Back-End server:
this is the error that I get to load it from my Front-End:
2.- The other thing is that when wanting to download a document will not let me and keeps loading forever until it falls.
Any ideas ?
and you can't figure this out reading the first time guide or a word document which I posted here a day back ?
okay, I had forgotten.
Everything has gone well and thank you to you.
Just one final thing, In trying to create from my original server admin a new admin server (windows 2008) I get this error:
My new admin server it have set the admin port = 5859, I change the port to 5858, but the problem persists.
I do not understand spanish but I think I have gone thru these errors below see if this makes sense Select * from kini where inisection=’AdminServers’ This will yield rows and you should recognize cryptic info about some admin server. The Fields do not lend themselves to be edited using a SQLtool as that is a proprietary Oscript Assoc representation. If you get rows that correspond to old admin servers of some other database then you should read this document again and again.No shortcuts to this my friend as if you do n't do it then you could be dleting the production data source than what you think you are doing or writing to the prod EFS from a test system "Case Study - Refreshing a Test Development System with Fresh Production Data" can be accessed via the following link: https://knowledge.opentext.com/knowledge/llisapi.dll/open/18007426 Having done that now if you go to the admin server and open up its System Object volume if you see a BIG RED X next to the RMI part then that means that on this erver it does not have a RMI port it has bound to. You can verify that by doing netstat -ano >temp.txt then looking for 2099 and 5858 or whatever you think you are making it listen to.If you then fix the RMI(usually re-boot or misconfiguration) you will go further Otherwise you will need to understand what the error is or contact OT support

Thank you for answers y collaboration honestly thank you all.
I owe you a lunch to all.
