1000 users limit for Defaultgroup

We recencly bought some some licenses and we went from 999 users to 1099 users and of course we reache the limit about no more then 1000 users in the defaultgroup. We are doing LDAP synchronization (REad only) no group synchro with Active directory. we are running on windows 2003, IIS 6.0. We are now trying to run the synchro and we get an error about 1000 users limit. We read in the KC that we can change that limit thru the opentext.ini: MaxUsersInGroup=1000, could we change this from 1000 to 1100 ? Would it hurt badly our environnmnet?

Hello,

 

you can easily increase the MaxUsersinGroups setting. I have customers running their Content Server with a MaxUsersInGroup setting of 10.000 and more

 

So no worries
