Gif too large

 I was trying out the address book code from builder documentation.

I tought everything went well, following the steps and everything.  I was done with the

"Creating Setup Scripts" and about to move to Controlling the Command Interface portion, but was testing before reaching that part ...

 

So now I get an error (should I say, it does a breakpoint) and I don't see anymore any objects I  had in my personnal workspace. The message I get in the builder is (or the line when the debugger comes in is a function called): ModifyGifNameToLarge. (GIFLarge)

I search for the KC and I can't find anything about this thing ?

Is it because my gif was larger than expected, so it can't display anything now ?

I can't delete those created addressbook If I can't see it from my personal workspace ?

 

 

I want back in as the Admin, I can see that they are there, (using the configure but I can't delete them or hide them)

Should I (is that my only solution) delete them from the Dtree table ?

Rather than attacking the livelink database here are a couple of suggestions

1. Search this forum and obtain a working addressbook module export your version as a dmp file.when you put the correct file make a dmp and using textpad or notepad++ look athe changes and try to follow where you failed.
2. Instead of deleting write a utility requesthandler and do the delete using lliapi.delete 9 times out of 10 it should work or atleast it will get you exposed to LLIAPI

Direct manipulation of database is not recommended because when something is inserted into dtree for e.g livelink also inserts it in many places.So you will have remnants in many places.Howver if you put elevated debug(2) with wantlogs=true you will get connectlogs and you probably can make an educated guess of the insertion routine.I alawsy use oscript methods to claen up as that is easier.
