Search Service not returning any results

We have a search service set up to allow 'Anonymous login' and are using a LL account to authenticate. When we try to use the search service, no results show up. If I paste the query string in the browser, the results show up correctly in the LL UI.

This service used to work and we experienced certain problems which prevented the ASP.NEt account to access certain log files. Once this problem was resolved, the search service stopped returning any results.

Has anyone seen such a behaviour before? Or does the fix to this issue seem obvious?

Hi, Hiren.

Sorry for the delay in responding.

Using a smaller value for NumResultsToRetrieve might be a good idea, but I don't think that's the issue.

Try including <ResultTransformationSpec>OTObject</ResultTransformationSpec>.

I think the next step might be to enable some search-specific logging on the Content Server side. In the [options] section of opentext.ini, try setting wantSearchLogs=TRUE and wantDebugSearch=TRUE.

Sorry for the late reply Scott. Turns out that the web.config for the EWS site in IIS was pointing to the wrong Livelink instance (no idea how that happened)
