Windows authenticated binding or SSL binding

We are running ECM 9.7.1 in a multi-server environnment where our front-end server are behind a physical load balancer. We have 4 ECM instance on 2 windows IIS server with 2 instance each on a separate IP addresse. We have a DNS host entry that point to the load balance IP address which is redirect to one of the 4 IP address of the front-end. We are running directory services.
We evaluating the possibilities to develop an application that will connect to ECM thru the web services. SO here my 2 question:
1_ Does ECM web services support windows authentication (now seem to be configure with httpbasicbinding)
2) Does ECM web service support SSL connexion.

and of course considering runing thing ina load balance encvironment

3. OpenText customer support does not support load balancers, but this should work as long as you can configure your load balancer to have clients use a particular server for a given session. In load balancer configuration this is often referred to as a 'sticky' flag. Please see this forum post for more info:
