How to Install Web Services 9.7.1 on Windows Server 2008 x64?

Hi there,

We've installed our Livelink 9.7.1 on Windows Server 2008 x64.

now we would like to install Web Services.

How do we do it?

If you are using IIS need to create an application to pointo to les-services directory , which is present under Livelink installation folder.

If you are using tomcat need to deply les-services.war file.

You need to create a new application pool to run the new application you create in IIS (pointed at the les-services folder). This application pool needs to run it as a 32 bit application.

Also be sure to install Visual J# Redistributable 2.0 Second Edition x64. In addition, IIS must be configured to handle WCF services. Check the Handler Mappings for your application to ensure that there's an entry for *.svc.
