Restful alternative to LAPI in LiveLink?

Hi,

I have noticed that DAM product has support for Restful commands which return JSON. Based on what I am trying to do this would be far better than using LAPI. Is there a way I can use Restful calls instead of LAPI within LiveLink? At the moment, the only alternative I can see is to use the WebServices.

The search aspect of Livelink has a RESTful API that should be used over existing LAPI and Web Service API offerings, if possible.

I don't know if there are other RESTful interfaces to other areas of Content Server that are intended to be used as an API.

Content Server 9.7.1 and 10 have CSRF mitigation in place that would complicate interactions with the existing URLs one might normally see in a browser for performing certain actions, like issuing a delete command.
