Does anyone know if the CMIS connector supports user impersonation?
With ECM suite 10 Enterprise Library (and with that CMIS) use OTDS for user management and authentication. OTDS support various forms of user id mapping and impersonation. Following the spec our CMIS connector supports - For the AtomPub binding: HTTP Basic Authentication - For the Web Services binding: WS-Security UsernameToken Usually there is no layer involved here that could do some kind of impersonation. I think more likely this would be the task of the application calling CMIS. Perhaps you can describe more precisely what you want to achieve?
I was hoping to find a way to impersonate a user by providing sysadmin credentials using CMIS webservices only - but it doesn't sound like this is possible.
Is it possible to use the OT Authentication Token in the UserNameToken instead of providng a username and password every time?
After first login the token will be transferred in a header field of the web services. Your application should capture the token and transfer it again with the next request. In this way repeated login is avoided. Please also note that SingleSignOn is supported with SAP.
