Hello,

It is possible to create a case or binder (from case management module) from a webservice?

I have these modules installed but i'm unable to find documentation of case management web services module

Hi Antoni,

I believe Hans Stoop replied to you directly already, however, for the benefit of others reading the forum, the "Case Management Web Services Module" is not a part of the Case Management delivery package. The Extended ECM offering includes the "Case Management Web Services Module" for its own purposes to allow for programmatic interaction with Case Management. It's not available for general consumption, which is why it's not documented.

Hi Greg,

That module is not for use by external developers.
It's in place simply to serve the Case Management solution.
So unfortunately, I can't really point you towards any documentation for those APIs.

The customer I have in mind already has Case Management, they have had to create their own Web Services to create Cases etc and thus we would be interested in replacing them with the "official" webservices.

Hi support,

When will be the case related web services available? Currently, i can only create/update folder/binder through web service. When we tried to create/update a case type object, system throw the exception -"Creation/Update of specified node type is not supported."

It's really required for us to handle the data migration.

The feature request CMSD-1963 is still listed as open, and there are no commitments yet from Product Management to implement the request.

If you open a Customer Support ticket, we can link the feature request to your account and you can monitor its status through Customer Self-Service from the development tab.
