NEED HELP URGENT!!!!

Hello All,

 

We are just upgrading from Livelink 9.5SP1 to Livelink 9.7.1, and one of customized modules no longer works…

 

In 9.7.1 this module seems to loose control of memory usage and consequently after running for awhile the memory usage reaches 1.3GB and Livelink crashes.

 

Did anything/something changed from 9.5SP1 to 9.7.1 on the Livelink Frames Objects that could be causing this issue?

 

Is there any other type of Livelink object that can be used in place of Frames?

 

This module goes from the root of a project till the bottom of it and updates some customized attributes.

 

Any idea/help/suggestion is really appreciated.

Hi MagdaFirst it's important to apply the current cumulative and core patches for 9.7.1: Content Server Core Patches https://knowledge.opentext.com/go/3840274Content Server Cumulative Patches https://knowledge.opentext.com/go/2394878 If you already have a recent cumulative patch you may want to try the following core patch in addition first:pat08412 for Livelink 9.7.1https://knowledge.opentext.com/go/17780848 This patch (pat08412) for core Livelink 9.7.1 has been tested for use with Livelink 9.7.1 and fixes LPAD-22552. Problem: Alleviates excessive memory usage by limiting node cache size.
