Installed Module Livelink Directory Services now admin console won't start

I have been installing the Livelink modules and after each one it asks for the LL server to be restarted. I did this (restarted the Livelink Server Service) and clicked continue and now the Livelink service starts and stops again and I get the error in my broswer:

Could not Connect to Server

The Livelink Server may be down or misconfigured.
Please try again. If the problem persists, contact your Livelink administrator.
Could not connect to server localhost[::1]:2099.

The RCS Log shows the following error:

ERROR [main] otx.servicecontrol : com.opentext.ecm.services.kernel.ServiceController - Problem initializing service RMLink-RFC-Service.....FAILE

I don't know if this is relevant or not

The Archive server (a different box) also has errors in the Tomcat RCS.log file regarding not being able to get a connection on port 9080

Should it be using 8080?

Any ideas anyone?

Hi Colin,

Just remove the settings for the last module you have installed form the opentext.ini and restart the service.

As for the Archive server you need to set the port on which your tomcat is running.

Thanks for that.

The agents101.out log file contained the following lines:

MRUOpen: C:\OPENTEXT\LES\module\sap_9_8_0\ospace\sap.oll failed.

Could not get list of ospaces required by \OPENTEXT\LES\module\sap_9_8_0\ospace\sap.oll

OpenInstalledModuleOSpaces(): Cannot open

I cut the following lines out of the OpenText.ini and restarted the Livelink Server service

module_74=sap

ospaces_sap={'sap'}

I am now able to run the Admin console again although there are a number of modules in red which say they can't satisfy their dependencies. I am planning to uninstall them and try installing them again

I hope that is the right thing to do. Many thanks for your help. Jon has also been helping me with this through a ticket I raised
