[CS10] External authentication issue.

Hi,

I have installed CS10 and RCS 10.2. After configuring LESDriver I am not able to find LES users from RCS.

I have enabled logging in CS10 and found the following error message:

10/28/2011 13:55:57 outArgs: A<1,?,'_apiError'='','_errMsg'='','_Status'=-2147482645,'_StatusMessage'='External authentication of users is currently disabled.'>

10/28/2011 13:55:57 status: External authentication of users is currently disabled. (-2147482645).

How do I enable "external authentication of users" from CS10?

We had the same problem with user's which were synchronized from external sources.

In our case, a Domino Notes (supports LDAP) user management. We were able to work around our problem using an Apache Web Server to perform the authentication. The Livelink Directory Services Module is configured for external authentication using LDAP.

We have the same problem with web services on CS10.

We have "Integrated Windows Authentication" and "LDAP Synchronization (Read Only)".

We use IIS7.5.

Does anyboby know how we can do to enable ‘External Authentication of users"?

Anyone has any workaround for this?

We are also getting this on the CS10 implementation but using LDAP. Session throws back an error saying that External Authentication of users is currently disabled.

We resolved this by using patch pat100000121 for Directory Services.
