Managing massive uploads into Content Server

Is there a way to massively upload documents (PDF or TXT) with no-metadata into a CS 10.0, similar to what is done with SharePoint?

Where can I get information about the multiple options I can use to upload content to the Content Server -different than having forced to use OpenText Integration Center- for example, Informatica, SSIS, Talend, etc.
If not, where can I get some examples of using LAPI into .NET programs.

Finally, it is Object Importer still around or I need to use a different product now.

OpenText has a module called Objectimporter.It is very easy to create xml node instruction files.usually in massive loads one creates a battery of OI servers(powerful desktops will suffice).There are plenty of lapi .net examples in lapi I can point you to very many of them.LAPI is a product that OT is saying you should not do new dev with so if you can program in websvcs your code and your investment is probably better served

1. May you confirm if Object Importer is a part of Content Server or it is an add-on or module that must be purchased separately, please? Lack of information about the right products needed for specific projects is very common among OT Sales representatives here in US. Did you know if it is possible to upload documents w/o metadata, like in SharePoint?

2. Since I can not program in web services, I will need to use LAPI but, is there a training course for it, or maybe a documentation related to begin with?

Appu-This is best answered by contacting your sales rep for OT for your organization.Of late OT has been bundling all optional modules as solution kits so who knows you may turn lucky on this.

Appu-If your version is livelink 9.7.1 the documentation is vailable but AFAIK the installable software is nowadays hidden from the download location.You are supposed to write to OT and they will send it to you.LAPI documentation is pretty straightforwards albeit old.If you have access to the livelink web gui then it can greatly aid in your programming as lapi is just replacing your user clicks with a programming language of your choice.the Datastructures in use can be a little unsettling but there are plent of handholding examples to get you by
