Hello there,
when I approach an existing EL installation. How can I figure out the actual patch levels? (RCS, ADC, DSD, ...)
best regards, Tom.
Hi Tom,
in Control Panel Add/Remove Programs you can see installed setups and patches.

Hello Andreas,
Indeed, you can find version number of specific ELS component in "Control Panel Add/Remove Programs", for example in my case Runtime and Core Services has version 10.2.1.778
As far as I remember patch installation process, last digits in verion number are changed after it is successfully installed
version 10.2.1.778
Where I can find which patch referes to these digits (778).
Thanks in advance!
Hi Oleksandr,
This is RCS 10.2.1-011 patch. I suggest you use RCS 10.2.1-012 patch in ELS scenarios.
You can look this up in the “C:\ProgramData\Open Text\landscape” directory. Find the newest*-R_CS-Patch.inifile and in there find
PatchName=OpenText Runtime and Core Services 10.2.1 Patch 011
For other setups/patches you can find the information more convenient under “View installed updates” below “Programs and Features” in Control Panel.

Hi Andreas,
Many thanks for your reply. With your recommendations now I can know for sure which version of EL Services is installed in the system.
I see that you have enough know-how experience in these field. Could you please help me with another problem, which is described in the following discussion.
