SearchService - Error if search results have item type URL

We are trying to use the SearchService(web service provided by Content Server) to retrieve results using SearchService.search(SingleSearchRequest, partition_name). We are able to get the SingleSearchResponse only if the expected results do not have any item of type URL. i.e., the search query is written in such a way that it excludes URL items.

If URL item is part of search results, the SearchService is not giving any results and throws the following exception:

javax.xml.ws.soap.SOAPFaultException: Error loading SingleSearchResponse.Results

Any guidance is appreciated.

Hello Arun,

I tested this against my 9.7.1 + Update 3 system using C# and did not see this problem.

Did you determine anything further since Dec. 27^th?
