SeqNumbering module and not able to createdocument through web services

Hi,

Has anyone encounted an issue with creating a document through web services and having it fail because of the sequential number module? We've tested this on our end and we know this is what is causing it to fail, but haven't been able to determine why. I am hoping that someone may some some insight or a solution to this problem.

Does WS code work on a container that does not have the ADN category attribute applied or is it broken on a livelink install that has the module applied.The reason I think like that it is the metadata(category :attribute) is what forced the adn code to fire.As a quick test you could try adding something to your PWS that doe snot have a adn category applied and see.

Hi,

It is broken even when the folder doesn't have the category applied. It is broken just from having the module installed. Once the module is uninstalled, creating a document through WS works properly once again.

You might want to run livelink with debug=2 and wantlogs=true and forward the trace logs if they get generated to OT support.My quick test on a CS10 Update4 with ADN 4.0 module and WS done thru C# did not observe the same as you have.In otherwords I was able to add my documents with my WS code.

Later I will try to see if I have to do some adn administrative actions or at least create one category with a ADN type and see if I encounter your same result
