Run a LiveReport with EWS?

Hi, can you run a LiveReport using 971 EWS?

Sorry some friday morning ideas and not a solution....

1. A LAPI equivalent way of doing this is not provided by OT at this time.However EWS is intended by OT for one to patch missing calls,when I took training they had us go thru how to create the oscript call,generate the .NET and java equivalents that one gets as a WSDL.A lot of it is pure mechanics of the language.But once you write the oscript equivalent test it and when you are satisfied you are executing a bunch of batch files/shell scripts/ant targets the whole nine yards of modern day development.It is very unsettling to see how all that works and pieces together magic mumbo jumbo.I was doing this I would just cheat and create a shell in oscript for the websvcs call and direct the call to the LR code execution API or steal the implementation.
2. Since in livelink one usually executes a live report as a URL most modern languages allow you to execute a URL would that work for you in this case a curious thought?
3. If all that fails a livereport is pure SQL at its heart with a permission stripper enforced at livelink which you can easily find in the KB ,I mean the real filter is a simple statement that livelink executes to do that.So getting a read only connection othe livelink DB is not too difficult in manay places as most DBA's have no problem giving you a "select role" to specified tables of the schema.
