Deleted groups on folders

I have noticed that when I dlete a group the group itslef is not autoimatically deleted fomr folder that it has been applied to.

Can anyone help me with a report that will give me a list of folders that have deleted groups applied to them?

We are running LL 9.7.1 with SQL

I would also be interested if anyone else has the same issue and/or how others manage the deletion of groups

Suppose the KUAF.ID of the group in question is 777, then this would be one way to run a query:

Select * from DTree a, DTreeACL b, where a.subtype=0 and b.rightID=777 and a.dataID=b.dataID

I tested it on a system here and it works. However, it took a while to run, so a DBA could be asked if anything can be done to optimize the query.

Sorry -- that’s an error on my part – remove the comma after “DTreeACL b” so that there is only a single space between the “b” and “where”.

Also, you can’t use the number 777. You have to replace that with the numeric ID of the deleted group. You can get a list of all deleted groups using:

Select * from KUAF where deleted=1 and type=1

If you are running the above query as a LiveReport, you would have to ensure that you set the report format to “AutoLiveReport”.

I did not have time to make it into something where you can point to a folder and identify any groups that are deleted but there is enough info for you or your dba to make it into a useful one

at least if you have a known folderid with a group that you kanow is deleted you can try the above
