Upload file in livelink into spring transaction

Hi,

I'm developing a java apllication which needs integrate with livelink 9.7.1, update 5.

I'd like to kow if it possible to launch an API request to livelink (a file upload, for example) into a spring transaction (the application will do more actions against other databases or systems), but we need to ensure the integrity of all systems if anything fails.

Does anybody knows if it is possible with livelink API?

Hello Eduardo,

LAPI calls are closed transactions.
That is, a request or series of requests are committed at the end of each request.
There is no way within LAPI itself to "rollback" the series of events.

You would need to implement your own rollback mechanism within your application.
For example, to roll back "create a document" + "change permissions", you would need to "delete the document" to roll it back.
