Were you able to find out a solution for this.

I am also facing similar kind of Issue , While using Content Server LES to upload a document. Its putting junk values in Dversdata and putting correctly in Dtree.

Can you think of any reason.

What exactly is happening?

Have you put wantlapilogs=true and provided results to OT.

Is your 971 a non UTF8 livelink and your client UTF8

Is this a foreign language livelink server other than English?

Can the forum members see your interpretation of junk in dtree and dversdata a screen cap that shows all the fields in dtree and the corresponding stuff in dversdata

Hi,

Yes the Content Server and Database which we are using Supports UTF 8 characters.

Please find the attachments which shows the File name in Dtree and same file name in Dverdata.

Also find the code where I am encoding the Filename to UTF-8 before sending to the Les Webservices.

Try the official samples here and see if they produce acceptable results if not raise a support ticket with OT

I will use a SOAPUI payload as well to rule out if it is your code or something that is innately problematic with this livelink.

Check many of the soapui examples in the forum.

is this also a case of the token(cookie) given to you for access somehow making it into as file name.Those illegible characters are

usually a encrypted cookie.Just a wild guess.
