CustomizationRT

Hello,

i have a custom Module to overried WebLingo files, and thats work well (based on http://www.greggriffiths.org/livelink/development/weblingo/customizationsrt/).

All Files to ovverried will stored in the Folder <customWebLingo>/modulemap/

I have seen in some Modules that it contains Folder "modulemap" like cmbase und doctemplates and it contains some Weblingo files.

It is possible to make this Modules to read from my CustomWeblingo and if yes how kann i configure it ?

Hi Mohamed,

Can you explain what you try to establish. Why do you want these standard CS modules read from your custom module? That would be a very bad software architecture.

You probably noticed that these other modules implement exactly what is described on the page you linked.

I think what he is trying to do is as follows :

1. webnode\html\titlecomponent.html is the original file

2. Custom module A uses CustomizationsRT to swap out this for a custom weblingo page

3. Custom module B ( created by the poster ) also needs to replace titlecomponent.html with some additional changes from point 1 and 2.

If that is the case then Mohamed just need to use the same structure in his own module and make sure that his module loads after cmbase or doctemplates. With the HTMLmapping the last module wins. In order to make your module load later you can create an orphan from the root object in cmbase/doctemplates in your own module.

Right now everything works as expected, without overwriting somes Weblingo files.
