Remove ability to submit SQL query

G'Day Folks

I heard from one of our operations folks that the ability to submit a SQL query from an app into the content web service is being removed from web services. Is there any truth to this???

Hi Kim,

I'm not sure I understand your question. What current functionality in CWS are you talking about that does this today? ie. What service / method?

We have not removed anything from the CWS API, nor have any intentions of doing so in the near future.

Hi Kim,

If you're referring to a feature gap between LAPI and Content Web Services in that CWS is currently unable to execute a LiveReport, then yes, that is currently the case.

However, in Update 9, we are filling this gap and adding the ability to execute a LiveReport via web services.
