cookie token

Can anyone tell me how can I write authentication token i a cookie? Can this be done in livelink administration security and how?

I want to send this token from client to our webservice by ajax call and then use it for authentication. Is this possible? Which methods should I use?

I found out that token = cookie in CS10 so authentication works with providing token.

Now I need a method that returns me authenticated user info (name, surname, ID).

Does anyone know how to get that info? I tried to use..

OpenText.Livelink.Service.MemberService.MemberService memser = new MemberService();

memser.Authentication = auth;

User usr = memser.GetAuthenticatedUser();

..but for this method to work, it needs to be authenticated with admin user, so in that case it returns admin user....and not the user that I authenticated with token.

any help?

The MemberService GetAuthenticatedUser method should return the info for the user for the provided authentication token, it should not have to be an admin user.

Otherwise, if you know the login name or ID of the user you want info for you can take a look at the MemberService GetUserByLoginName or GetMemberById methods.
