Change language only for specific Content Server module

Hello

Is it possible to select language only for specific Content Server module?

E.g.:

System language is English, ELINK module language is English too.

I need to translate ELINK mail notification language, so I would like to change ELINK module language to another, I already have a file "elink_**.properties". How can I apply this language file? Unfortunately I can't find info in admin guide, so could you please describe step by step how I can change only specific module language.

Hi Fjodors,

 

The system will be loading properties files for all modules based on the user’s UI language preference.

So you cannot say that eLink should be “English” but Physical Objects should be “French”.

 

The only way to achieve what you’re describing would be to customize the shipping properties file for eLink.

In that properties file, you’ll see a lookup key paired with the translated text.

If you want to change specific strings tied to mail notifications, you would need to translate those strings and replace them in the properties file.

Keep in mind that these properties files can be modified by a Content Server update, so you’d need to maintain your customization from update to update.
