Some of users can't copy Custom view object

Hello

I detected a problem that sometimes some of users can't copy custom view element .

E.g.:

1)user copied compound document (using WR) with custom view file inside this compound

2)as a result compund document was copied succefully, but custom view file was not.

I assume there is a problem with permissions. Is there any global permission settings specially for custom view objects? (e.g. permissions to edit custom view or permissions to copy custom view object, ...)

Or may be there is another reason?

Hello Fjodor,

 

Custom views do have a creation privilege which could be restricting that user from creating the copy.

It’s a restricted type by default.

Have a look at theAdminister Object and Usage Privileges admin page (?func=admin.adminfactories).
