How can I update category on Project Workspace

I'm trying to update the category on a project workspace using webservices.

I tried using updateNode but apparently that's not allowed in conjunction with a project workspace.

How can I retrieve and update category information on a project workspace ?

This should now be possible with update 9.  There was additional support added in update 9 for working with GenericNode node types, such as Project Workspaces.

 

Also, coming in update 10 is a new SetNodeMetadata() method which will allow you to update just the category information on a node, without having to do a full node update.

 

Unfortunately without update 9, this just isn't possible.
