How to force Livelink to create SubWorkflow

Hello,

I've a complex Workflow Map with a User Step called "Proofreading".

This step can be assign to a single user or multiple users. When I assign this step to multiple users, Livelink automatically create a subwork. If it's assign to a unique user, livelink just keep the original workflow.

I want to know if there is a way to force Livelink to always create a subwork for this task.

I have not tried this; but, could you try assigning it to a group (I’m guessing a group would trigger multiple users)? But, of course, you would just put a single user into the group.

Thanks, I haven't try this but I guess it will not work because we can see in the method "_SentToAllUers" (WFMain, AdvancedPerformerPkg) that Livelink "Expand" the group, puts all users (or single user of the group) in a list and he create the submap only if the length of this list is > 1.

I've overrided this method with just this code :

[...]

Boolean booForceSubWork = FALSE
booForceSubWork= /* some stuff */
if ( Length( userRecords ) == 1 ) && ! booForceSubWork

[...]

It's working like I want. Thanks for your idea.
