XML Import issues in processing , in LL 9.7.1

We are trying to Import an XML for creating LL Document Template(Case Management Framework 1.1.0) in Production environment using the LL Import feature as below,

· Placed the XML file inside Prod. Server location(\XMLs).

· Started XML Import process by using the below URL,

http://localhost/Livelink/livelink.exe?func=admin.xmlimport&filename="D:\XMLs\<xmlfile>.xml"&objId=27191

The XML import was started but is never completed with the status being displayed as in the attached screen shot.

Please let us know if this is a known issue in LL 9.7.1 or any other option available to successfully complete the XML Import processing.

I suggest you have a look at the log files for xml import.

For Template Workspaces 10.1.0 users which have all patches applied:

There is new functionality available that makes exporting and importing templates easier. During the import It will try to automatically map all information based on IDs and allow you to map the DataIDs also yourself.

Thanks Hans, for CMF 1.1.0 , do you have any idea if similar kind of patch can help us to slove the issue ?

I would check in the logs, but intially I dont see any trace logs found.

It will not be possible to backport it to CMF 1.1.0.

XmlImport has its own log files. I think they are not in the normal log directory, but in the tmp or temp directory of the Livelink installation.
