Livereport missing results (Not all Folders showing)

HI All,

I have a simple Livereport to show me the folders that meet a strict criteria (report below). However for some reason the Folder starting with '03 TAC xxxxxxx' do not show in my results, any ideas?

SELECT DISTINCT d.name, d2.name as Parent_Folder, d.dataid AS dataid, d6.name as Structure
FROM dtree d

INNER JOIN LlAttrData f ON (d.DataID = f.ID AND f.attrid = 6 AND f.DefID = 4208)
Inner join dtree d2 on d.parentid = d2.dataid
Inner join dtree d3 on d2.parentid = d3.dataid
Inner join dtree d4 on d3.parentid = d4.dataid
Inner join dtree d5 on d4.parentid = d5.dataid

Try using two percent symbols (%%) in the report instead of just one.

Thanks Bhupinder,

But that didnt work either, I have discovered the problem seems to be that the folder names have double spacing between the characters 'TAC' and '/'.

The actual folder name is '03 TAC / Action Plans / Closing Forms' but even if i put this in it still doesnt find the results i think the extra space is causing the problem.

Any ideas how i can bypass the double spacing?

I think the problem is that your where clause says IN but you need a LIKE condition to use the % wild card.

d.name IN('03 TAC%','01 CAF','02 Correspondence','04 Factors / Enquiry Forms / AOB','05 Non File Plan Documents')

You might find this works better…

Where d.subtype = 0

AND

( d.name LIKE '03 TAC%%'

d.name IN ('02 Correspondence','04 Factors / Enquiry Forms / AOB','05 Non File Plan Documents')

)

AND

…..

Running statements in a LiveReport, the % character is used as an escape character to introduce input variables, so needs doubling to be treated as a literal.
