Is there a method to call for versioning the uploaded file already exist?

Hi,

I'm wondering if we have some methods in content or management service to call to create a new version for the uploaded file which has already been on the server.

Right now, if we upload the same file by calling the uploadcontent() inside contentserviceclient, it didn't do versioning work for us and throw an exception saying file already exist instead.

To add a new version you would need to call:

DocumentManagement.AddVersion()

DocumentManagement.AddVersionContext() - if using it with ContentService.UploadContent().

Is there any example to show how to setup the parameters in AddVersionContext(), like ID and metadata in request obj?

In response obj, is AddVersionContextResult property contains the new version number or objID?

Also, how can this method work together with uploadcontent() to avoid the exception when uploading the same file?
