Setting Password Expiration Date through webservices

I'm trying to create a passwordreset-tool for endusers in case they forgot their password.

I can set the new password and the user privileges but can I set the password expiration date

or is there another way I can force the user to change their password immediately.

PS: It's regarding Livelink 9.7.1 and update 8

Password expiration is not an option when creating or updating a user.
Password expiration is governed by an admin page setting in the GUI (?func=admin.pwvars) and applies to all users.
