Custom module installation issue

Hi,

First, I had developed the Address Book module in the Builder. It works.

Then, I try to create my own module, keeping a peek to the tutorial... It works on builder. So, for testing it, I try to install my module in another Content Server Instance without the builder. The issue is that when I click on "Install" button on the Admin page, CS send me this error message: Content Server Error: Error dispatching request. [Invalid function "addressbook.configure".] (Yes, I try with the addressbook module too to be sure).

I find nothing relevant in the tutorial, neither in the forum. (Or I miss it...)

What I missed in my attempt?

Could you look in the addressbookmodule or your module and see what Kernel it is referring to

does it look like this

requires_1={'kernel',9,5}

then open a ini file in your CS10 system and see what their modules use for Kernel .I am betting it has become 10.

you could even go further and see if you can find the configure object it is in the .fRequestHandlers see if there is a cryptic looking objects that says <modulename>.Configure.If you create a export the ospace beecomes a ascii file you can read the configure object there something that shows up like this in my module

I have not tried taking a 9.7.1 module(32 bit implications) to a CS10 server(64 bit).I do not know what to do there whether modules have to be requalified or not.We plan to do that here at some time.

If you are on 9.7.1 and if you have not seen the "Make A New Module" tell me I will send it to you gets you going in no time.
