Zip and Download

Hello,

For a custom Module i try to overwrite some Document actions (Overview, download ... ), all works fine. only the action Zip & Download i am not sure if i do the right orphane.

To overwrite the Zip & Download i have orphane the ZipDwnld from the Module MULTIFILE:WebNodeAction:ZipDwnld. If i try to debug only the Originale Script will executed.

I am not sure if it is the right way to overwirte the Zip & Download or have i vorgot some configuration.

I did the same as you did,I made my object enabled ,run build ospace command and saved a break point.

When I executed zip and download it hit my break in subclassexecute

I noticed that that code calls the original modul's RH as in this

response.location = Str.Format( "%1?func=multifile.zipdwnldmulti&nodeID_list=%2%3", request.SCRIPT_NAME, request.objid, nextURL )

so that is what is really doing the work for you so either you are confused or have not created the object really

Hi Ltaief,

Inside the_SubclassExecute script of the $MULTIFILE:WebNodeAction:ZipDwnld, make sure that you also set the value ofresponse.location to the desired RH that you would like to call or execute.

the Problem is still existing ;(

I Do the following :

Orphane the $MULTIFILE:WebNodeAction:ZipDwnld in my Module
create a child
the fEnabled is allready TRUE
Set fWebSript to zipdwnldmulti.html and copy the zipdwnldmulti.html in the html Directory of my Module.
Change the RH to Str.Format( "%1?func= MyModuleName.zipdwnldmulti&nodeID_list=%2%3", request.SCRIPT_NAME, request.objid, nextURL )
Save the Module
Run the BuildOScript.

I set Breakpoint in the _SubclassExecute and the Execute Child. If i debug will allways the Original Scripts executed.

did i do somthing wrong?

toggle this to false,then change it to true and Build ospace

also check your Globals object and say inspect on the f__InitObjects,if your object was enabled you will see your object and you will see a ZipDwnld

Now for arguments sake call it zipDwnld some objects are mapped by name.

Also be sure to call SetRequestHandlers in your RequestHandlerGroup.
