Copying a folder that contains completed forms yields forms with no data

When we copy a folder that contains completed forms, and then try to open the form in the new copy we receive this error:

----> 1) E81902084:The version is not found.:

We have found that the data that was in the form in the original folder was not copied to the target folder. Any help resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated.

For your information, we are able to copy forms from one folder to another without a problem. This only happens when we are copying a folder that contains completed forms.

I would recommend opening a ticket with support@opentext.com to troubleshoot this, but here are some thoughts and questions:

- you indicated "we are able to copy forms from one folder to another without problem", but are those forms also "completed" like the ones in the folder you are trying to copy? How is the copy being made, i.e. via the web, via drag-and-drop (assuming that is possible in an interface like Enterprise Connect), or programmatically?

- is there a difference between the revision/submission mechanisms defined for the forms that work and those that don't?

- I'm guessing that perhaps because the copied form has a new dataID, and, if SQL table was being used to store the form data, there might be no records in the table corresponding to the new dataID. The error "version is not found" leads me to believe there is a revision mechanism is defined for the form -- what value is being used if so?

And I did open a ticket with Open Text in mid-April and we are still working to try to resolve the problem.

What version of Livelink/Content Server is being used?

If you go to the properties, versions tab of the original form, and compare it with the properties, versions tab of the copied form, what differences do you notice?

We are using versino 9.7.1.

For the form that didn't work, the original had 10 versions while the copy has six (6). And, for the form that did work the original had one (1) version, and the copy has three (3).
