Non-standard category attributes

Hello all,

Is there any recommended approach for creating categories via web services with non-standard attributes such as table lookup or ADN attributes? I would imagine that as these are installable optional modules, in theory it would be up to the module to extend the DocMan API, but I thought I'd ask.

Ya, the optional modules that extend categories would need to extend the category web service functionality offered by core Content Server to support their attribute types. At this point in time, those attribute types are not supported for use in web services.

Is this still the case or are we now able to update the attributes for Non-Standard category attributes like ADN attributes via the web services?
