DAPI.ListSubNodes with catAttrQuery Option Question

Has anyone used the DAPI.ListSubNodes with the optional catAttrQuery parameter? I'd love to only grab children in a folder that have a certain category attached so that I don't have to iterate through all child documents in the folder ( a big 'ol package folder with mixed data - not my design and I don't have a say ). I searched all the OSpaces on my builder for a possible example, but could not find one. I've only been working with OScript for 3 months and I just don't know what the query syntax would be since it is not DTree stuff.

Hi Bobby,

You can forget about using any of the category functionality specified in the DAPI and other low level (non OScript) parts of builder reference guide. They refer to category implementation in Livelink 8.*. In Livelink 9.0 the categories are implemented differently and no longer supported by the low level functions. They are only supported by OScript functions. You should use the query parameter to make a query on the LLAttrData table.
